As the sun begins its decent into darkness, I’m lying here in my hammock relishing the final day I’ll be in Kerala. There’s nothing but the sound of a cool breeze and a few birds calling for each other. On a day like today, I just lie back and let my mind wander. I’m trying to think back to my earliest memory, but I’m not sure which one is the earliest. What about my best memory? Worst? Silliest? Maybe if I lie here long enough I can remember everything. But my mind won’t let me live in the past anymore. I’m filled with daydreams of wishes, hopes, and ambitions. These are the daydreams that I mustn’t forget; that I won’t forget. I won’t forget this spot.

So I’m catching up on the news in India and they are talking about the U.S. Decision to shoot down a satellite to prevent any chance of the entire satellite hitting a city. What clip do they use? The scene from Armageddon when a meteorite hits Paris and the entire city blows up. I almost fell over laughing.

There’s a strike over the recent petrol price hike (1 Rs./litre) and they will come after you if your car is on the road. Our solution - place a sign saying ‘Airport Emergency’ and fly like the wind!

We’re in Kochi, Kerala right now and it’s a tourist city. Lots of Europeans and Australians. The prices here definitely reflect that.

In a move I thought would never happen, the TSA has started a blog! Almost everyone I know has a condescending view of the TSA. They are viewed as incompetent, lazy, and useless. I glanced over the blog and found myself astonished by how honest the content was. The contributors...

We’ve Google release their entire line up in iPhone friendly format, and even SeriousEats (a site I visit frequently) has released an iPhone friendly format. One site we haven’t seen rush to...

Internet Anonymity: The Double Edged Sword
People love the internet because they perceive themselves as anonymous when surfing and posting content. Tabling the entire discussion on how anonymous you really are on the internet, I wanted to to talk about the double edged sword of anonymity. It’s great; you can join a forum on photography, get...

Rent vs. Buy: The age ol' debate

The philosophy of design applications
Nicholas Jitkoff, developer of Quicksilver, presented a Google Talk on his immensely popular application for OSX. If you haven’t used Quicksilver before, I highly recommend trying it and you’ll find that it will become a staple in your OSX experience. While the application is intuitive, powerful, and extensible, it wasn’t...

Upgrade your Windows Mobile phone with PointUI
