Rant of the day
“It’s not that the Republicans are playing chess and the Democrats are playing checkers. It’s the fact that the Republicans are playing chess and the Democrats are in the nurses office because they super glued their balls to their inner thigh.”

Adding Circuit Training
The past couple months I’ve been getting a 3-4 mile run in about 4 times a week, but after hitting a plateau I’ve added a new idea to the mix: circuit training. I’ve done basic weight lifting before but this time with circuit training I’m focusing more on keeping my heart rate up the entire time I’m lifting.
My first experience with circuit training was a couple weeks ago and I worked with a trainer to get a good rhythm going. That day was brutal. A circuit with the legs, then upper body, and finally abs. It was a full hour with only a couple water breaks. It took me a couple days to full recover from it, but my subsequent workouts, while still tough, haven’t required the same recovery time.
The question remains if this new addition is going to help me overcome my latest plateau…
The physics of pizza tossing
Scientists created a physics model of pizza tossing that could be used in future medical procedures. Next time you’re at your local pizza shop, thank the chef for saving lives!

Safety at any cost?
Polls offered by new sites tend to be loaded and offer answers that aren’t mutually exclusive, but here’s a scary poll at Fox News:
66% of users who took the poll voted that “Safety is worth any price.” I’m sure they didn’t think this all the way through, but come on, any price? Would you give up all your liberties, if I promised you safety for the rest of your life? If so, I’ve got a great deal for you.
The Move (Part 2)
The move is done! There is still a couple remaining items to clean up and unpack, but it’s not much. I’ll post soon about several of the new happenings of the place.
