Time to change the way we blog
I recently began to ponder on where the internet was going. All these great sites exist, but the each have their niche. Corkd.com is a great social networking site around catalog, finding, and organizing information about wine, Flickr is great for uploading your photos, Del.icio.us will catalog websites you want to bookmark. I was getting so decentralized with all my information. Sure Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo are starting to offer all these great services that will let you centralize information on their platform, but I still wanted choice in which service to use for each need. That’s why I decided to write a new plugin for Textpattern that will give me this.
asv_tumblelog is built around two features:
1) Quick posting – land on a great site? Then use the new bookmarklet to quickly add a post about it. Oh and don’t worry if you’re adding a video from Viddler, Vimeo, or Youtube, the bookmarklet will automaticall Add it to del.icio.us and asv_tumblelog will post it on your site for you. Take a great shot with your cameraphone? Add it to Flickr and asv_tumblelog will post it for you.
How do I use it? Well I use it for everything, but my favorite is the power my cell phone has now. I can send a txt message to twitter, I can send a photo to Flickr, and I can send a video (from my cellphone) to Vimeo and and asv_tumblelog will post all of these to my blog without any additional effort.
It’s the George Foreman Grill of blogging. Set it and forget it!

From the TXP forum
No. TXP 4.0.6 and SimplePie 1.1.1 are not working with the actual asv_tumblelog on my site.
Amit: We need some help from you :-)
