Sarah Palin from the 2006 Gubernatorial Debate
I just read through an article describing Palin in the Couric interview as starkly different from the 2006 Gubernatorial Debate in Alaska, so I wanted to know what Palin was like in that debate. At a state level debate Palin definitely showed confidence in her answers, and her answers were really answers. In her Couric interviews she remains vague, suggestive, and unresponsive at times. Maybe she’s just not ready for the national scene, but I guess we’ll find out Thursday night.
At a state level, Palin puts forward a good (conservative) case, but at the national level, it’s been dismal. Here’s some points that in the video you should watch:
- 13:30 – Asked her view on abortion for victims of incest and rape. While I don’t agree with her viewpoint, she answered honestly and directly.
